Caring for Clarkston Food Pantry

The Food Pantry at Clarkston United Methodist Church began to serve the community in 1983. Due to a shortage of funds and volunteers we are no longer able to continue on our own. With the help of our partners, we are very happy and blessed to be able to continue serving the Clarkston community.

“Caring for Clarkston” is a partnership between the Clarkston Community Center, Clarkston United Methodist Church, Oak Grove United Methodist Church, Hands on Atlanta, and the Atlanta Community Food Bank. The “Caring for Clarkston” Food Pantry, which opened in September 2011, provides low-income families with food twice a month on Saturdays from 9:30 am to 11:30 am.

The upcoming Food Pantry dates for 2019 are as follows:
September 7 & 21
October 5 & 19
November 2 & 16
December 7 & 21

“Friends of Refugees”, another one of our partners, provides other services to families in need. Their website is friendsofrefugees.com.
